BBC 2019 posterCare Net’s Baby Bottle Campaign is an opportunity for people in your church to put pocket change or extra cash to work helping Care Net provide abortion alternatives to women and their families.  It is an important fundraiser for Care Net and everyone loves how easy it is.

How It Works:

  1. Care Net provides the number of bottles you request for your church or organization. We recommend one per family.
  1. We will deliver the bottles to the Care Net Center closest to you, or another location for you to pick up.
  1. Distribute the bottles at church on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday or another Sunday that fits your church schedule. You explain the Baby Bottle Campaign and give a Care Net update, encouraging each family to take a bottle on the way out of church.
  1. At home put the Baby Bottle in a popular place (dresser, desk or kitchen counter) as a reminder to drop pocket change, extra cash, or a check payable to Care Net in the bottle as an offering to help us continue to provide abortion alternative services.
  1. Collect the bottles on the first Sunday in March, or six weeks after your church begins the campaign. It is best to make an announcement two Sundays before the campaign ends to remind people to return their bottles.
  1. Bring the filled bottles to the Care Net Center nearest you (please call ahead) or contact the Administrative Office to arrange pick up. Some churches host youth events to count the money in advance, but we are more than happy to count it and provide a receipt for your church.

Thank you so much for participating in the campaign. Your contributions will help save a child and her parents from abortion!

If you have any questions please call the Administrative Office at (315) 733-5404 or email us at carenet@carenetcares.com

Fill a Bottle, Save a life.

This year's Baby Bottle Campaign is scheduled to kick off on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, which will be Sunday, January 17th

Last year, this campaign raised over $89,000 to support women, men and babies in our local community!

If you have any questions or would like materials provided so that your church or organization can participate, please reach out to Sara Kardas at sara@carenetcny.org or call 315-733-5405. Care Net will provide you will all the materials you need for a succesful campaign.

For churches already participating, your bottles and materials will be available for pick up the first week of January. They will be at the same location as last year unless you have specified otherwise.

Get Ready.

Decide which date you want to start your campaign. Connect with your Pastor or leader to plan this. Most churches choose to start on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, which this year is January 17th, with a return date of the first Sunday in March. However, you may do the campaign at any time throughout the year that works for you. We have some churches that choose between Mother's and Father's day, for example.

Get Set.

Gather the materials you’ll need. We will provide all of this for you. If you find that you need more of anything please contact us at (315)733-5405 and we will arrange to get this to you.

  • Baby Bottles. We usually recommend one per family.
  • Bulletin inserts and posters. We recommend hanging the posters somewhere where people will see it regularly as a reminder to bring back their bottles.
  • Pray. We ask that you would pray for this ministry, and for a successful campaign so that we would be able to continue to help those impacted by abortion.

Go!

Start your campaign on your chosen date and look forward to seeing how the support your church or group raises can change lives!

  • Week 1: Distribute the bulletin inserts and baby bottles to your congregation or group.
  • Make an announcement to kick off the campaign and read the ministry updates provided to you to your congregation. If you would like a guest speaker from Care Net to come speak at your church, please call our admin office at (315)733-5404.
  • Week 6: Collect the bottles and return them directly to Care Net, or arrange for them to be picked up by us. Please call (315)733-5405 to arrange this.
